I need some help with the correct interior and exterior colors for the IAR 80. The instruction sheet calls for FS 34127 ( Dark Green ) and FS 30219 ( Tan ). Both of these are listed as exterior colors, and they are available as Model Master paints. Are these ok to use, or are there RLM colors that should be used instead? Also, FS 35526 ( Light Blue ) is listed for the underside, but I can't find a match. One of the on-line discussions listed RLM 76 as the correct color. Is that ok? The interior color is listed as FS 36622 ( Lt Gray ). I can't find a match. What color is correct? ( Possibly RLM 66 ). I assume the same interior color should be used for the inside of the landing gear bays, engine cowling, and cockpit floor/sides/seat areas. Any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Hello Henry,
when it comes to the colors used by the ARR, i'm afraid there is no rule
There is not a single written document regarding the exact color specification as far as i know, it seems like you'll have to use your imagination.
The good side is that any colors should you use, nobody will be able to prove you wrong

The wheel bays could be the underside color or a light gray, as i remember the cockpit was also light gray, with the instrument panel black.
